File format identification can fail when the extension of one format is a... 

File format identification can fail when the extension of one format is a substring of the description of another format.

For instance, the "graph" extension is a substring of the description of the dot format.

Maybe this is the reason TestForceBasedLayout is failing in the test pipeline.
