[lua] restored the logic deleted in 3aa4202c...

[lua] restored the logic deleted in 3aa4202c to also properly handle the output of Lua
and extended the handling of the output to handle Lua and LuaJIT separately.

Lua and LutJIT produce different output with the major difference being the presence of the input commands in the output in the case of Lua.
This requires a completely different parsing and we need to handle both cases - Lua and LuaJIT - separately.
