Now that KWin 5.25.5 is out, this workaround can be reverted.

Now that KWin 5.25.5 is out, this workaround can be reverted.

Since nobody did this, and instead time was even wasted on maintaining this obsolete code (see commit 5d19e9da), I have submitted merge request !199 (merged).
