MySQL server settings: Make use of 'loose_' option prefix
Idea by one of the Gentoo MySQL maintainers. This makes MySQL skip over unsupported options rather than fail, which is important with >=MySQL-8. I faced this issue no Kubuntu 20.10. It was working fine before I installed mysql-server. On installing mysql-server, akonadi failed to start. After chatting on the IRC, a fellow contributor suggested me to install mariadm-server. But now I can't use mysql-server on my system. Please fix this soon. It would really help.
