  Use KConfigGroup::readPathEntry() for string entries and
  trigger initial synchronization after the resource has been
  started.
  This will ensure that there will always be a writable
  default resource available.

  apparently older versions of Outlook can't handle TZIDs and/or VTIMEZONES.
