No need for a transaction here, only folders of a newly created resource

are modified in there, and the resource is deleted again in case of an
error anyway. On the other hand, there were a bunch of exit paths that
did not close the transaction again (causing the client session to
hang) and some operations on resources that will not succeed as long as
any transaction is open with sqlite (deadlocking the entire system).
